Diabetes – Causes and Solutions

Diabetes

Diabetes has today reached the scale of a global pandemic. While in the past this problem mainly affected people over the age of 50–60, today it can be found even among newborns, children, and adolescents. This article provides insight into the causes, prevalence, and possible solutions for diabetes, as well as emphasizes the importance of lifestyle in the prevention and management of this condition.

Statistics: Prevalence of Diabetes Worldwide and in Latvia

Statistics show that the prevalence of diabetes is closely linked to lifestyle and education level. The lower the level of education, the higher the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. For example:

  • Approximately 10% of people with primary education suffer from type 2 diabetes.
  • Among those with secondary education, the incidence is already 3–4%.
  • Meanwhile, for people with higher education, this figure is even lower.

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF):

  • China – approximately 140 million people with diabetes (the highest number in the world)
  • India – about 77 million
  • USA – about 37 million
  • The incidence rate is also very high in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, and Russia

Particularly rapid growth is observed in type 2 diabetes, which is most often associated with a sedentary lifestyle, unbalanced nutrition, and excess weight.

Situation in Latvia:

  • In 2001, approximately 30,000 people were diagnosed with diabetes.
  • In 2022 (according to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control – SPKC), already 98,055 people, of whom 94% suffer from type 2 diabetes.

Concerning data also relate to children:

  • In 2018, already 25% of first-graders were overweight.
  • Each year, diabetes is diagnosed in 75–85% of children.
  • 89% of children with diabetes are hospitalized already in a critical condition.

Parents have something to think about since children’s health largely depends on the habits of their parents.

Consequences of Diabetes:

  • In Europe, approximately 50% of diabetes patients die from cardiovascular diseases.
  • 10–20% die from kidney failure.
  • Around 2.6% of blindness cases worldwide are caused directly by diabetes.

Some Interesting Facts:

  • Globally, more than 537 million adults had diabetes in 2021, with projections indicating an increase to 783 million by 2045.
  • 1 in 10 adults worldwide lives with diabetes.
  • 90–95% of all cases are type 2 diabetes, which is highly dependent on lifestyle.

How to Recognize That Something Is Wrong in the Body?

Early Signs of Diabetes and Important Basics About Blood Sugar Levels

If a person has never encountered someone with diabetes or has no personal experience with the disease, they often have no idea how diabetes manifests. Therefore, it is important to be informed — especially for parents, who should pay attention to their children’s behavior. For example, if a child starts drinking water excessively and frequently, this can be the first signal that something unusual is happening in the body and that the reason should be investigated.

The child drinks water because he is thirsty Usually, blood sugar level tests are performed on an empty stomach. However, in the early stages, when diabetes has not yet progressed and the body still produces a small amount of insulin, the sugar level in the morning may appear normal. In such cases, it is recommended to repeat the test about an hour after a meal — this helps obtain a more objective picture.

The normal blood sugar level is up to 5.5 mmol/L.

Diabetes often develops gradually, and at first its symptoms can be mild or unnoticeable. However, there are several characteristic signs that should not be ignored:

  • Constant thirst
  • Frequent urination, especially at night
  • Dry mouth
  • Persistent fatigue and lack of energy
  • Blurred vision
  • Increased appetite
  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Slow wound healing
  • Itching or skin infections (especially in the genital area)
  • Tingling, pricking, or numbness in the hands and feet

It is important to know that vital organs such as the liver, brain, and heart function without insulin. However, for other cells in the body, insulin is essential — it acts as a transport vehicle, like a “car” that carries glucose molecules from the blood into the cell. Without insulin, the cell simply cannot take up this source of energy, even if it circulates in the blood.

Insulin itself consists of amino acids and iodine, therefore the presence of these nutrients in the body is also important.

However, for this mechanism to work, there is another essential condition — the cells must be sensitive to insulin. When cells become insensitive (which often happens in type 2 diabetes), they no longer recognize insulin, do not allow glucose to enter, and it continues to circulate in the blood, causing oversaturation.

When the cells are filled with glucose, the liver begins to store glucose by converting it into glycogen – an energy reserve. And when we do not eat, for example during a deep body cleansing program such as Colo-Vada Plus, the liver releases these reserves back to the cells. During the first fasting days of Colo-Vada Plus, one might feel trembling in the hands – this means that the blood sugar level is dropping rapidly. In such a case, a teaspoon of honey is enough to stabilize the situation. On the 3rd–4th day, the body begins to use fat reserves. However, fats can be converted into energy only if the enzyme system functions properly. Unfortunately, for many people today, the enzyme system is impaired; therefore, enzymes are an essential component in almost every cleansing program.

What Controls Blood Sugar Levels and Insulin Production?

The central nervous system is responsible for regulating the production of glucose and insulin – it “decides” each day how much of each should be produced. However, various non-standard situations, such as stress, can disrupt this delicate regulation.

Insulin production is related to the functioning of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. If the liver contains parasites (for example, Giardia) or is overloaded with toxins, it can no longer fully perform its functions, including supporting insulin synthesis. Parasites “consume” all available resources, and the liver begins to demand even more, creating a vicious cycle.

As a result, if the liver does not function properly, the activity of the gallbladder and pancreas is also disrupted – and this directly affects insulin production and glucose metabolism in the body.

As long as insulin injections have not yet been started for a child, it is much easier to restore the body’s balance. Therefore, timely action is crucial.

Signs of Pancreatic Function

  • Decreased function: bloating, nausea, unstable bowel movements, anal irritation, allergies, nail damage.
  • Increased function: burning sensation in the digestive tract, excessive appetite (inability to skip breakfast).

Causes and Risk Factors of Diabetes

In traditional medicine, there are usually only two officially recognized causes of diabetes: improper nutrition and heredity. However, in reality, there are many more reasons, if we begin to look and explore more deeply.

1. Stress – the Invisible Trigger

Stress causes headaches in humans One of the most common triggering mechanisms of diabetes and many other problems is stress. As Professor Krasilnekova says: “We all live in an era of stress.” Stress directly affects the central nervous system, which regulates both insulin and glucose production. If stress is prolonged, the pancreas may stop functioning fully.

Moreover, during extreme stress, the gallbladder has a kind of “valve” that closes tightly. For another group of people, stress causes the bile to flow uncontrollably.

Under stressful conditions, cells become insensitive to insulin, glucose is not absorbed, and a chain reaction begins. That is why the first step in diabetes prevention is stabilizing the nervous system. To support this, one can use Griffonia, MindSet, or the Mental Force program. The nervous system must be calmed, otherwise it is like fighting windmills.

2. Nutrition – What and How Much We Eat

Improper eating habits significantly affect the pancreas’s ability to secrete insulin. The stomach’s capacity is around 300 grams, yet overeating is common, which compresses the pancreas. As a result, it cannot produce enough digestive enzymes or insulin to transport energy. In such cases, it is better to go for a walk rather than lie down after eating.

When a person is diagnosed with diabetes, they are often advised to eliminate both sugar and fats from the diet. However, it should be remembered that it is from glucose and fats that our body obtains energy. One glucose molecule provides 2 ATP (cellular energy units), while one fat molecule provides 32 ATP. Unfortunately, if the body’s enzyme system is not functioning properly, it becomes difficult to convert fats into energy. As a result, even when energy is “available,” the cells cannot use it and experience starvation. Therefore, enzymes are an essential component of any cleansing program.

If all sugars and fats are completely removed from the diet, the body will have no source from which to produce glucose. This is dangerous because about 5% of the blood’s composition is glucose, and the brain depends entirely on it. The minimum required level is 2.8 mmol/L, and if it suddenly drops, hypoglycemia can occur — which can lead to coma or even death. This is why people with diabetes must carefully monitor their blood sugar and maintain a balanced, energy-supporting diet.

A vicious circle also appears when we constantly crave sweets. Since quick sugars remain in the bloodstream, it’s better to have a spoonful of honey, which is much healthier than refined sugar.

The body also needs cholesterol – it is the foundation of all hormones. Therefore, excessive elimination of fats from the diet can lead to serious consequences, especially for women – loss of menstruation, teeth problems, and more.

Energy comes through food, so balanced, high-quality nutrition without excess is one of the most important elements of prevention.

3. Beverages – the Hidden Source of Sugar

Drink sugar We do not obtain true energy from drinks – that is “quick energy.” Beverages, especially sweetened drinks, juices, and carbonated sodas, rapidly raise blood sugar levels. Even freshly squeezed juices should be consumed in moderation. It is better to eat whole fruits than to drink juices, as many people mistakenly believe that juices are inherently healthy — but they contain a shocking amount of sugar. For example, apple juice should be consumed only in the amount equivalent to the apples you would normally eat in a day.

Observations show that children who start drinking coral water often no longer crave juices. They sense by a kind of bioresonance what is suitable for their body and what is not. And, as we know, everything starts with parents — they are the best examples for their children.

4. Viruses and Parasites

The pancreas can also be affected by internal invaders – viruses, bacteria, protozoa, and parasites. If the body is not regularly cleansed, they can interfere with the production of a sufficient amount of insulin, because the pancreas begins to get sick.

Likewise, if there are parasites in the liver (for example, Giardia), it is no longer able to properly perform its functions. Liver overload also affects the gallbladder and the pancreas, creating the so-called “vicious circle.”

5. Medications and Vaccines

Scientific data indicate that if there is hereditary diabetes in the family, diabetes may become activated in a child after receiving a vaccine.

Many medications block and disrupt the functioning of all organs. There are also medicines, for example, antibiotics and antidepressants, after which the functioning of the liver and pancreas becomes overloaded, disturbing the natural system. It is especially necessary to be careful with antidepressants, because they block the function of the hypothalamus, as a result causing weight gain or other hormonal changes.

6. Lack of Physical Activity

Excess weight is often unused energy. In order to use this energy, movement is absolutely necessary! We can expend energy in different ways – by exercising, working with people (giving lectures, consulting, etc.), loving people, inspiring them.
If there is significant excess weight, running is not recommended, but regular, moderate walks are sufficient to create energy expenditure. Movement helps cells become more sensitive to insulin, improves blood circulation and metabolism.

7. Bad Habits

In the case of diabetes, white sugar is the most dangerous “friend.” A diabetic must categorically not add sugar to tea or coffee, because it is quick energy. If one really craves something sweet, it is better to take a teaspoon of honey – it is absorbed more slowly and is healthier.

8. Bioenergetics and Psychoemotional Background

Although it is a less studied aspect, a person’s inner energy, emotions, and mental state affect physiology. Prolonged feelings of sadness or anxiety can change the functioning of internal organs, especially the liver and pancreas.

9. Ecological Conditions

Environmental pollution, toxins, pesticides, and heavy metals significantly burden the functioning of the liver and other organs. In regions with poor ecology, where various weapons are tested, where normal food is no longer grown, etc., diabetes is more common – this is yet another signal that we must pay attention to what we eat, drink, and breathe.

Dietary Recommendations in Case of Diabetes

What must not be eaten in case of diabetes?

  • White flour products
  • Buns
  • Candies
  • Potatoes
  • Rice
  • Semolina
  • Artificial sausages (including children’s sausages)
  • Juices
  • Cakes
  • Tortes
  • Bananas
  • Corn
  • Alcohol
  • Milk (reduce)
  • Grapes
  • Sweet fruits
  • Pasta

What can be eaten?

  • Vegetable oils
  • Fatty fish
  • Also lean fish of various kinds
  • Sea cabbage (seaweed)
  • All sour berries
  • Meat
  • Fermented milk products
  • Cucumbers
  • Various vegetables
  • Carrots
  • Green onions
  • Zucchini
  • Eggplants
  • Tomatoes
  • Various salads
  • Avocado

Balanced, healthy food Everyone wants something tasty but harmless. People with diabetes can also safely enjoy the Daily Delicious Beauty Shake cocktail, which contains natural sweeteners and does not raise the glycemic index. The glycemic index is an indicator showing how rapidly the glucose (sugar) level in the blood increases after eating a particular product — the lower the glycemic index, the more stable the sugar level and the smaller the load on the pancreas. This shake is an excellent substitute for a sweet dish, with which it is also possible to replace one meal, receiving full-value nutrients without disturbing the metabolic balance.

In fact, all the above dietary recommendations apply not only to diabetics — they apply to everyone. Unfortunately, people have become used to eating everything indiscriminately and do not even think about the consequences or about what health problems all this can cause. Therefore, everyone should follow proper nutrition to prevent health problems from developing at all. It is not without reason that there is a saying: “All of a person’s problems are earned with a spoon and a fork.” If we look at how small children eat, they usually eat each product separately — this is much friendlier to our enzymatic system.

Support Products for Diabetics

Water and Energy – the Foundation of Everything

Everything begins with high-quality water and energy. Our body demands energy, which people often try to obtain from sugar, juices, and sweets. However, the healthiest way to provide this energy is with H-500 and Coral-Mine water, and with the help of water to release all stress from the body.

Coral-Mine:

  • reduces surface tension, which allows water to enter the cells instead of simply flowing through the intercellular fluid,
  • helps to remove toxins and cleanse the cells,
  • is rich in micro- and macroelements,
  • provides proper water structure and oxidation-reduction potential.

Vitamins and Their Absorption

In the case of diabetes, deficiencies are often observed in the following vitamins:

  • K, E, D (both D2 and D3), A, PP,
  • B-group vitamins (especially B1, B3, B5, B6, B12),
  • Folic acid.

For vitamin D to be absorbed at all, good liver function, enzymes, and sunlight exposure are necessary.

For those who have digestive or absorption problems (especially older people or those who are only beginning the cleansing path), it is more effective to choose:

  • powdered, drinkable, or lozenge-type vitamins, because then the products have better bioavailability than in capsules. You can pour the capsule content under the tongue; in this way, absorption takes place through the mucous membrane and lymph.

Chromium

  • Chromium is essential because it helps the cell to open and take in glucose.
  • Chromium can be found in a product such as Activin – also a strong antioxidant and very necessary for diabetics.

Liver Support

In the case of diabetes, artichoke is very good for supporting the liver.

Lecithin should be used constantly, to promote bile flow, support the liver, and restore the sheaths of nerve cells. For liver support, one can also choose products such as FanDetox, curcumin, Burdock Root, or zaferan.

For Balancing Metabolism

Lipostick Fit can be a valuable aid for people with diabetes, as it helps normalize metabolism, reduces insulin resistance, improves cell sensitivity to insulin, and in some cases reduces cravings for sweets. The fermented mandarin peel extract in the product, with a high concentration of nobiletin and hesperidin, improves carbohydrate metabolism, prevents fat accumulation in the liver, and helps balance blood sugar levels.

Green tea extract reduces glucose intolerance and supports blood vessel health, while green coffee bean extract accelerates metabolism and reduces appetite, helping to control weight — one of the main factors in reducing diabetes risk.

Additional benefits, such as improved sleep quality and antioxidant protection, promote hormonal balance and the body’s ability to better adapt to glucose fluctuations.

Premium Plankton Oil is a unique natural product for balancing metabolism and protecting against metabolic syndrome, thanks to its wax esters and omega-3 fatty acids, which improve cell sensitivity to insulin, reduce inflammation, and help normalize sugar and lipid levels in the blood.

Blood Circulation and Nitric Oxide

In the case of diabetes, it is especially important to take care of good blood circulation, to prevent or delay the loss of foot sensitivity and vascular complications. Here, a crucial role is played by nitric oxide – a substance that dilates blood vessels, improves microcirculation, and helps lower blood pressure. Its formation in the body is promoted by L-arginine, which is found in the product Libidextra for men. This product effectively improves blood circulation, especially in peripheral tissues, and can be a valuable support in cases of diabetes. The product can also safely be used by women.

Nitric oxide is especially important in diabetes because it:

  • improves microcirculation, helping blood flow better through damaged blood vessels,
  • reduces vascular stiffness and inflammation,
  • supports heart and vascular health,
  • can help improve cell sensitivity to insulin, reducing insulin resistance.

Another good product for vascular health and strengthening – AquaOx.

Detoxification – the Basic Stage of Health

The initial detoxification of the body can be started with the Coral Detox or Coral Detox Plus program. The Coral Detox program includes all the necessary daily products for every person: Coral-Mine water, H-500, Assimilator, and Lecithin. In the Coral Detox Plus program, PentoKan and Alfalfa are added.

Assimilator – a wide-spectrum plant-based enzyme complex that helps not only to break down food but also sugar molecules.

The Coral Detox Plus program is daily support for body cleansing and maintaining cellular health, especially important for the modern person who faces toxins, stress, a polluted environment, and unhealthy nutrition. It promotes more effective nutrient absorption, helps the liver, kidneys, and the whole body eliminate harmful substances, provides antioxidant protection and cellular detoxification. The program helps normalize the functioning of the heart and circulatory system, supplies the cells with oxygen, energy, and overall well-being.

For cleansing programs, pau d’arco bark should be added in large doses, because in the case of diabetes, fungi reproduce intensely — they feed on sugar, flour, and similar substances.

The best thing you can give to the pancreas for it to regenerate is fasting, and this is best achieved with four fasting days in the Colo-Vada Plus program.
This allows the pancreas to “rest” and promotes its recovery.

Black walnut not only acts on large parasites but also helps very well to reduce blood sugar levels.

Organic Sulfur (MSM)

Sulfur is very necessary for our body because it strengthens nails, hair, and bones. And sulfur is disliked by large parasites that have attached themselves to the intestinal walls. With the help of sulfur, parasites detach from the intestinal walls and are more easily eliminated from the body. That is why MSM is often included in antiparasitic programs. Parasites are absolutely everywhere — not only in the gastrointestinal tract but also in other organs (liver, pancreas, duodenum, etc.).

Cellular Nutrition

After cleansing, it is very important to add amino acids to cellular nutrition, for example, Protivity Ultra, because:

  • insulin is formed from amino acids,
  • they help maintain normal sugar and fat metabolism. Without amino acids, sugar floats around wherever it happens to go, and fats do the same — because amino acids are like “transport,” delivering everything to where it is needed.

Possible Complications in the Case of Diabetes

Diabetes is not only about elevated blood sugar levels. It can cause serious and even life-threatening complications that affect both large and small blood vessels, damaging various organs and body systems.

Even if a person regularly injects insulin and tries to follow healthy eating habits, diabetes can still cause various health problems. However, it should be emphasized — following a proper diet is already a huge step toward health!

Damage to Large Blood Vessels

Brain

An increased risk of stroke caused by impaired blood circulation in the brain.

Heart

Ischemic heart disease and myocardial infarction (heart attack) are common types of diabetic complications, especially in long-term disease cases.

Legs

People with diabetes often develop leg problems — especially below the knee. Glucose molecules are heavy and tend to accumulate mainly in the lower limbs. Blood circulation there becomes more difficult, wounds heal slower, and the skin becomes sensitive and thin. If an infection enters this area, the consequences can be severe — up to amputation. The statistics are harsh: every 30 seconds, somewhere in the world, an amputation is performed because of diabetic complications. Therefore, diabetics must protect the leg area below the knee!

Due to circulation disorders, the feet and palms can become numb, which is very dangerous. Therefore, one should not walk barefoot, to avoid injuries or burns.

Another common complication — trophic ulcers. They heal very slowly, but with proper support — for example, applying H-500 and lecithin — it is possible to promote skin regeneration and healing.

Damage to Small Blood Vessels

Eyes (Retinal Damage)

As mentioned earlier, the insulin molecule is very large. Imagine such voluminous molecules circulating in our bloodstream. But the fine capillaries, such as those in the eyes, are extremely narrow. If large molecules block this delicate circulation, vision may begin to deteriorate — even leading to complete loss of sight.

Kidneys

Diabetic nephropathy is one of the most common forms of developing kidney failure. In some cases, patients require hemodialysis.

Nervous System

Diabetes also affects the nervous system — it can cause nerve damage, loss of potency, depression, sensory disturbances, burning sensations, numbness, or pain, especially in the legs and arms. Sugar strongly acidifies the body, which in turn puts additional strain on the entire system.

Green decorative leaf

And furthermore — sugar is a real “festive meal” for fungi and parasites. Diabetics very often experience fungal growth in the body. When the diet is dominated by sweets and flour-based foods, it only promotes the multiplication of these unwanted microorganisms.

We can only imagine what blood looks like when it’s full of sugar and fungi are multiplying in it… Not to mention cancer cells — because they all feed on sugar.

Conclusion

Diabetes is not merely the result of heredity or eating sweets. It is a signal from a complex system that something in the body is out of balance. A calm nervous system, balanced nutrition, a cleansed body, sufficient movement, and a healthy environment — all of this is important to maintain long-term health.

A responsible attitude toward one’s health and knowledge about the body’s needs can prevent complications in the future.
